Co-founder appears on WRAL FOX 50 9AM Show to discuss Snacks for Kids mission
As announced in a previous post, Snacks for Kids co-founder Samantha Couture recently appeared live on WRAL’s FOX 50 9AM Show to speak about our organization and the mission that drives everything we do. The segment gave our community a wonderful opportunity to learn about Snacks for Kids and the simple but powerful idea at its heart: no child should go without a snack during the school day.
During the interview, Samantha spoke about how Snacks for Kids got its start, the need it addresses in our local community, and the momentum the organization has already built since launching in January 2026 — including our very first snack delivery to Southeast Raleigh Elementary School in February. It was a meaningful moment to bring that story to a wider Triangle-area audience.
We’re so grateful to WRAL and the FOX 50 team for the opportunity, and to everyone who has supported us along the way. This kind of visibility helps us reach more schools, more families, and more community partners who want to be part of the solution.
